Organizer: Hong Kong College of Cardiology |

The HKCC
regularly organizes scientific meetings and courses on cardiology for
its members and the medical profession. Notably, an Annual Scientific
Congress to allow exchange of experience between fellows, trainees and
overseas visitors of repute in the field of cardiovascular medicine is
held in March/April every year. |

| B. | Initiator: International Chinese Heart Health Network |
|
The International
Chinese Heart Health Network (ICHHN) was established in 1994, with its
secretariat office situated in Hong Kong. Founding members include Beijing,
Singapore, Taipei, Vancouver and Toronto. Other cities with a significant
Chinese presence will be invited to become members. Its aim is to promote
not only the heart health of the people of Hong Kong but also that of
Chinese and in fact all the people throughout the world. The Jump Rope
for Heart Program was introduced to Hong Kong from the Heart and Stroke
Foundation of B.C. & Yukon via ICHHN. |
